At Tronworld operations we see many examples good and bad on the Internet. Some pages seem
to be feeble attempts at hanging shingles in Cyberspace and others tend to verge on the incredible. The point is, what is the point? What do you want this site to do ? Do you wish to convey to your peers that you
are “Net Savvy”? Could it actually hit the target market you think your customers will see ? Depends, namely if you are selling items that have nothing to do with E-Retail, then you might have to punt your ERP
plans and look for another point to work towards. One thing is for sure if you need exposure to more customers and feel the old J.C. Whitney methodology could work for you, than the Internet could open up
possibilities. One main thing to keep in mind, anything above a small single mailto web page will cost you. Its not just a PC sitting on your network. It is, or will be a money maker so don’t scrimp. The money spent
on SUN/HP UNIX Linux/Freebsd servers well makes up for the headaches that will abound on smaller less robust web server platforms ( microsoft). As recent attacks on microsft.com have proven, some approaches work,
but not always the way you wish. Security must be paramount before the first system goes online, and many times those who choose Microsoft for its ease of installation have learned the hard way that all operating
systems are NOT alike.
If your single web page site is a no hitter then why setup a HUGE web presence? Obviously
your approach to this point of presence is ineffectual, if serious thought and objective analysis is not done beforehand. The cost of your site could be depressing. Tronworld can assist you in planning and
implementing your site with some perspective. Tronworld.com has had extensive experience in Network Security interdiction and resolution events in the past, can we help you ? If so please feel free to call upon tron@tronworld.com for further information.
